  • Photography – in-depth practical knowledge of composition, lighting, exposure, perspective, appropriateness or purpose, visual effect, mood and emotional impact.
  • Image retouching – technically trained with a focus on colour correctness, perspective, image manipulation, layering, compositing and deep etching.
  • Colour management – proficient in the psychology of colour, correct use of colour in various mediums, colour calibration for printing and screen.
  • Strategic marketing – consumer focused with an approach based on practical implementation. Strengths include positioning, research, customer profiling, marketing trends, SWOT analysis, product launches and competitor analysis.
  • Branding – adept at building brand awareness through identifying the brand essence and promise, consistent use of corporate identity and image, designing the right look and feel for a market.

Renovated five properties with three appearing in Australian and International magazines, one selected and featured by the English Edition of “Country Homes & Gardens” as one of the best 10 holiday homes in the world. One property achieved a record price for the suburb when sold in 2007.

  • Worked in the advertising and design industry for over thirty years.
  • Co-owned photography and graphic design studio Photographix in Balmain for 20 years.
  • Freelanced to a range of large and small advertising agencies, multi media companies and publishers as a graphic artist, typographer and art director.
  • Switched from traditional artwork assembly and design on paper to computer artist in 1990.
  • Self-taught and now an expert in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
